About My Blog.
Welcome! This is "Catatonic Digressions."
Most readers don't understand my blog's title. It's an old inside joke from a forum long gone. I was going to change it, but since it's been "confusing" for so long, I decided to leave it. Don't worry about what it means, the content of the blog is what matters...or not
Unfortunately, my blog isn't what I set out for it to be. A sick woman in Orleans, MA began stalking me in 2007 on Myspace. Since that time, this woman obsessed over me to the point of having the police come to her home and threaten to confiscate her laptop. She is a racist and anti-Semite.I could no longer blog freely, knowing this nutbag was just going to take the photos I'd post and put them on a child exploitation website.
This site is only up for the information it has that others might need to know about. That information is about "Seal Shepherd" aka Michael McDade, Kat McAboy aka Marilyn McAboy and Veronika Hompo, a self-proclaimed Nazi.
I'm a real person. I'm real and I don't pretend to be someone I'm not. After years of putting up with online abuse by manipulative, pathological liars, attention whores or narcissists, I've had it. Don't bother me with pathetic drama. I have no time for these types of people and their need to absorb others' time and attention.
This blog is no longer used. I've retired it for the most part unless something very important comes up.
Please, join Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, and follow them on Twitter and Facebook.
Ha ha ha, NO. I hope a wolf pack bites her ass off.
As we know, I LOVED Sarah Palin. PFFFT! Thank goodness this freak isn't getting into the White House. WHEW! I was worried, yet deep down, I knew that McCain couldn't win with this wacko as his running mate. Choosing her was his biggest mistake, and THANK GOD! I knew people that were on the fence, and once Palin was at McCain's side, blabbering with that creepy smile, not one was still even thinking McCain. Ha! Cry more, Sarah.
Cry, Republicans, cry. Boo hoo hoo. But do us all a favor and cry in your own room or in the restroom. We're all so tired of hearing you people whine since the election. Fair is fair; what did you want? Another theft? Seriously now, you can't pull that off twice in a row. Maybe next time, crybabies.
I just read this and found some of the comments amusing. Enjoy.

Palin Calls Post-Election Attackers "Jerks"
Sarah Palin came out swinging yesterday at insider attacks against her that surfaced after Tuesday's election calling them "cowardly." She also said that those from the McCain camp who leaked out implications that she didn't know which countries were involved in NAFTA and whether or not Africa was a continent were "jerks" and that the comments were taken out of context. Other campaign aides came to Palin's back yesterday, no more than McCain adviser Nicole Wallace. Wallace made headlines in the waning days of the campaign as internal tensions boiled over into the press by saying she would lie under a bus if those in her camp were throwing her under one. Yesterday she said that Palin was “perhaps the most un-diva politician I've seen" and that "the only thing I’ve seen her ask for is a diet soda.” Palin later confirmed the diet soda comment, specifying it was a Diet Dr. Pepper.
You must work from home and be self-employed, that's if you hold a job at all. There's no way anyone would keep you as an employeee if they came across your blog. Now stop looking at me, you freak, and get thee to a psychiatrist! You need meds.
I sat at my desk this morning, logged onto my personal Myspace account and read my bulletins. OH.MY.GOD, the HATE. Are some of you seriously that bent that a democrat won? Is it really because he's a black man? Holy fucking hell, I am shocked; you're on my FRIEND'S LIST, for Christ's sake! To see the racism and the hatred was so disturbing. To see the comments the slithered out of the fingers of animal activists were even more shocking, since Palin, that horror, was the most anti-animal rights nightmare you'd think they would want anyplace near the White House. Ah, one woman posted that the White House should now be called "The Black House." Isn't that so sweet. One went on to complain about not wanting to hear about black people complain about racism anymore, now that an African-American was President. Another keeps posting every hour or less, "WE'RE DOOMED, AND IT'S NOT MY FAULT!" She then rants on and on about how we're all soooo very fucked now. Wow, I didn't realize we had it so good these last years! Ha! Then I saw the bulletin I loved. Here it is.

BAWWWWWWW
cry more... you sound exactly like the liberals crying over the past 2 elections.
One of my friends, Marilyn, was sharing some pictures of me and I noticed they were so
low-res they looked awful, so I wanted to post the photos in a more viewable size so they don't look so odd.
I've seen my pics stolen by people on the net, and then distorted so I look "scary" according to some of these people.
Marilyn is a kind soul, really shy and honest, but cannot access MySpace, so...here I am. Both the first are before I had my son. In the first one, I'm holding my dear cat Buster, who I was lucky to have in my life for 15 years. As you can see in the picture, he was almost blind by the time the photo was taken. He was a very special family member. I rescued him from the streets, and he became the socializer of the household. Boy, did he snore!
Here I am with spookie. She's a very shy cat, and
she was not too happy when one by one, I brought home new kitties to the house. She's a little princess, and a little nervous. She now lives with three others, and she'd be really glad if they all just went away one day and never returned. Sorry, spooks, but they are family now. ;)
The original picture is the first one. As anyone can see, I was driving my car. Actually, I was being pursued by two much younger guys (they were idiots with sideways caps on...I hate that wanna-be look) who wanted to drag race on a very dangerously curvy parkway, and they were not going to just let me drive. They had even made very brief eye contact with me at clog-up near the Meadowbrook. I have a 30th anniversay Camaro, so all young guys think it means "RACE!" (Okay, even old men do this. Let's not be silly.) One was on my left, the other, my right. I was staring straight ahead, watching the highway like any good driver would. Luckily, they both got totally busted after a "logjam" at a construction area. Yes, I did speed for a bit, but not much. Anyway... I'd just gotten out from a Motley Crue concert. Yes, I went this year. I'd not gone out the year my son was born, and I wanted to finally get out this summer. I'd also lost all the weight I'd gained from having a baby, and, I looked practically the same age as when I had him! I had to hit a show. I couldn't pass up seeing Tommy Lee, no matter what the media says about him. He is hot, and I'd not seen him live in many years. Oh, and he's even hot in that PETA ad. :P I was sweaty, it was July, and it was a breezy night on the water of Jones Beach. If this picture means I'm a psychic vampire, I want to know what others could mean!
I'm pretty damn proud of my skin, since I had such bad skin in early high school, and later on went on Accutane. Being made fun of for things you can't help is no fun, as we all know. I also thank my parents for inheriting the "OMG you are NOT how old you claim to be!!!" genes. I've never had any work done.
That image above, with the black border, cropped from the original, is the one that was stolen off my profile and used without permission. It's the "Vampire" photo. :D If you click on it, it's a pretty large image, and you can clearly see, I'm very focused on driving, not on being a psychic vampire, but, if that person wants to believe I'm up to some psychic vampiric activity, then very well!
When I have some time, I'll put up a few more. The older ones might be fun. :)
Everyone in the apartment complex I lived in knew who Ugly was. Ugly was the resident tomcat. Ugly loved three things in this world: fighting, eating garbage, and, shall we say, love.
The combination of these things combined with a life spent outside had their effect on Ugly. To start with, he had only one eye and where the other should have been was a gaping hole. He was also missing his ear on the same side, his left foot appeared to have been badly broken at one time, and had healed at an unnatural angle, making him look like he was always turning the corner. His tail has long age been lost, leaving only the smallest stub, which he would constantly jerk and twitch.
Ugly would have been a dark grey tabby, striped-type, except for the sores covering his head, neck, even his shoulders with thick, yellowing scabs. Every time someone saw Ugly there was the same reaction. "That's one UGLY cat!!"
All the children were warned not to touch him, the adults threw rocks at him, hosed him down, squirted him when he tried to come in their homes, or shut his paws in the door when he would not leave. Ugly always had the same reaction. If you turned the hose on him, he would stand there, getting soaked until you gave up and quit. If you threw things at him, he would curl his lanky body around feet in forgiveness.
Whenever he spied children, he would come running, meowing frantically and bump his head against their hands, begging for their love. If you ever picked him, up he would immediately begin suckling on your shirt, earrings, whatever he could find.
One day Ugly shared his love with the neighbor's huskies. They did not respond kindly, and Ugly was badly mauled. From my apartment I could hear his screams, and I tried to rush to his aid. By the time I got to where he was laying, it was apparent Ugly's sad life was almost at an end.
Ugly lay in a wet circle, his back legs and lower back twisted grossly out of shape, a gaping tear in the white strip of fur that ran down his front. As I picked him up and tried to carry him home, I could hear him wheezing and gasping, and could feel him struggling. It must be hurting him terribly, I thought.
Then I felt a familiar tugging, sucking sensation on my ear. Ugly, in so much pain, suffering and obviously dying, was trying to suckle my ear. I pulled him closer to me, and he bumped the palm of my hand with his head, then he turned his one golden eye towards me, and I could hear the distinct sound of purring. Even in the greatest pain, that ugly battled-scarred cat was asking only for a little affection, perhaps some compassion.
At that moment I thought Ugly was the most beautiful, loving creature I had ever seen. Never once did he try to bite or scratch me, or even try to get away from me, or struggle in any way. Ugly just looked up at me completely trusting in me to relieve his pain.
Ugly died in my arms before I could get inside, but I sat and held him for a long time afterwards, thinking about how one scarred, deformed little stray could so alter my opinion about what it means to have true pureness of spirit, to love so totally and truly. Ugly taught me more about giving and compassion than a thousand books, lectures, or talk show specials ever could, and for that I will always be thankful. He had been scarred on the outside, but I was scarred on the inside, and it was time for me to move on and learn to love truly and deeply. To give my total to those I cared for.
Many people want to be richer, more successful, well liked, beautiful, but for me, I will always try to be Ugly.
As a nation, we claim to love cats and dogs. Millions of households have pets, and billions of dollars are spent yearly on pet supplies and food. But as a nation, we should take a hard, sobering look at a different annual statistic: the millions of dogs and cats given up to shelters or left to die on the streets. And the numbers tell only half the story.
Every cat or dog who dies as a result of pet overpopulation—whether humanely in a shelter or by injury, disease, or neglect—is an animal who, more often than not, would have made a wonderful companion, if given the chance. Tremendous as the problem of pet overpopulation is, it can be solved if each of us takes just one small step, starting with not allowing our animals to breed. Here's information about this crisis and why spaying and neutering is the first step to a solution.
Visit http://www.brightlion.com/ for more information.
For every cat you spay and neuter you can stop the birth of over 420,000 in 7 years. Just ONE can stop 420,000 others from being born unwanted.
If you would spay just 3 cats you could prevent the births of over a million in your lifetime!
Pretty Impressive....

I Stood Beside Your Bed Last Night (Dedicated to Kitty’s Parents) Current mood: sad
Last night I took Jack to the animal hospital for his blood work. As we waited, a couple came in with their beautiful cream colored dog and sat down. The woman went to counter, and I looked over at the man, a man around my father's age, and saw that he'd pulled a tissue out of his pocket and was crying. The dog, a large dog with sad eyes, sat down at his feet. The woman spoke quietly to the receptionist. She was discussing options after euthanasia. "OH GOD, no, that poor dog and those poor people, how sad..." I thought. The woman decided on taking the ashes home. I'd gotten up while she was still at the counter, and went over to the man and his furry child, and asked about her. Her name was Kitty, and she has cancer of the spleen. She was in pain, she was too sick, and it was time. My eyes welled up. He was sobbing now. A couple nearby leaned over, and they offered their condolences and they were now teary-eyed also. I stroked Kitty and told her she would soon be amongst many friends, and pain-free. I hope so. What do I know. I can only hope that animals get a better deal, because they don't deserve to suffer while on this planet. But I digress. I really had to hold in the waterworks as I looked into Kitty's eyes and said goodbye to her, this dog I knew for barely 5 minutes, if even that. A technician came and called the couple's last name, and off they went. We all said we were so sorry, and crying, the couple led Kitty to her final moments with her loving family.
I STOOD BESIDE YOUR BED LAST NIGHT
I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep. I could see that you were crying, You found it hard to sleep.
I whined to you softly, as you brushed away a tear, "It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here."
I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea, You were thinking of the many times, your hands reached down to me.
I was with you at the shops today, Your arms were getting sore. I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.
I was with you at my grave today, You tend it with such care. I want to reassure you, that I'm not lying there.
I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key. I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said "It's me."
You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair. I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there.
It's possible for me, to be so near you everyday, To say to you with certainty, "I never went away."
You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew ... in the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you.
The day is over... I smile and watch you yawning, and say "Goodnight, God bless, I'll see you in the morning."
And when the time is right for you, to cross the brief divide, I'll rush across to greet you, and we'll stand, side by side.
I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see. Be patient, live your journey out ... then come home to be with me.
UPDATE Wed: Jack will be on the AZT ((ZIDOVUDINE) for life. Previously, Dr. B thought we could wean Jack off it, but his blood work shows that Jack needs it. Jack's blood work also showed that his bone marrow is not regenerating red blood cells, but his levels are not dangerous, so we are going to keep him on the AZT and do blood work on a schedule to make sure he's doing okay. The other option was Epogen 3 times per week, and that was very expensive and the doctor didn't think it was necessary in Jack's case.
Below is the blog from spookie's account, from last night:
This info (in quotes) is included in this blog, but it's near the bottom. Most of this blog was typed up a few nights back, when Jack was doing better. Hopefully he'll be better by tomorrow.
"I took Jack for his bloodwork, and also got more Clavamox. He clearly has the sniffles and needs more antibiotics. He's going to be on the AZT for at least a month more. (ZIDOVUDINE) He wasn't himself today, and hid most of the day, so I was nervous for him all day, but he did eat a little and drink water. I took him around 6:30pm, and I'll know tomorrow the results of the blood work. He seems a little better now that I gave him his doage of both meds, and he stopped hiding, and actually sat on the couch with me for an hour. He wouldn't socialize all day, and I'm so in tune to their behavior that I knew immediately he wasn't feeling well. I hope it was just because he spit up his AZT last night and hid, and then this morning, he'd only gotten a partial dose and no Clavamox. He was very "blah" all day, and that's not Jack."
This is spookie's mom again! THANK YOU to everyone who donated!!! Thanks you to all of you who reposted the bulletins, and to those who sent prayers, positive energy and kept Jack in their thoughts. We all appreciate every bit of all of it!!!
He's doing okay, and seems to have his appetite back, plus his playful side. He has a sneeze, but then again, so do I. :( I will find out why he's sneezing, hopefully when he's seen by his doctor this week.
Jack goes back for full blood work this coming week. I'm going to get hit again for another huge bill, but since Jack isn't dying, there is no reason to not make sure he is still doing better and not declining. They need to make sure he is doing okay on the FIV medication. He's on 3ML of ZIDOVUDINE twice daily, and Clavamox in case he still has an infection. He'll be on the ZIDOVUDINE for a month, then slowly weaned off it.
These are my invoices from his stay at the animal hospital. I wanted everyone to see them, so those who don't know me don't think anything even slightly iffy. I know those of you who have known me for a long time didn't need me to post these. I just didn't want to see what I've seen happen to some other friends on MySpace. Posting them before a rumor is best.
..
We could still use help. I do hate begging. It's why I never did before. This time it's different. I have to somehow pay for this, and at the same time, pay for some
********************************************************** ***OH THANK GOODNESS THIS DIDN'T GO THROUGH!!!*** For some reason, I was unable to POST on MySpace; post bulletins, reply to messages, post in groups, etc. (for days a lot of things didn't work most times, and not just MySpace, it was pretty random actually...sometimes Google even crapped out, and my ISP popped a message saying to call customer service about my account! So, um, yes, I owe a lot of money, but it turned out to be a modem issue, and today they reset it and everything finally works. My personal email was offline since Oct 17!!!) and I tried to post the ORIGINAL version of this blog, and UGH, it was FAR TOO PERSONAL! —blah blah blah, not necessary for BLOGGER, TMI, LOL —Jack is lounging on our bed, Harry's taking a nap.
********************************************************** I took Jack for his bloodwork, and also got more Clavamox. He clearly has the sniffles and needs more antibiotics. May 1978 may not seem like an important time to you, but to the multi- billion-dollar spam industry, it’s the equivalent to the beginning of time. Kurt Kleiner of NewScientistTech reminds us that it was Gary Thuerk who sent the first spam to the 393 users of ARPANET, the original version of the Internet. Either on May 2nd or 3rd (sources vary on the specific day; a Wikipedia entry says 5/2), Mr. Thuerk sent a marketing pitch for a new computer model from his employer, Digital Equipment Corporation. And then as now, people were rather annoyed by the concept of getting such an email. Yet, it apparently resulted in some sales. Thus Internet spamming was born.
So what did the first spam look like? Amazingly, Brad Templeton of the Electronic Frontier Foundation actually has it archived. You can see the entire mail, plus the reactions it generated, at his site.
“DIGITAL WILL BE GIVING A PRODUCT PRESENTATION OF THE NEWEST MEMBERS OF THE DECSYSTEM-20 FAMILY; THE DECSYSTEM-2020, 2020T, 2060, AND 2060T. THE DECSYSTEM-20 FAMILY OF COMPUTERS HAS EVOLVED FROM THE TENEX OPERATING SYSTEM AND THE DECSYSTEM-10 COMPUTER ARCHITECTURE. BOTH THE DECSYSTEM-2060T AND 2020T OFFER FULL ARPANET SUPPORT UNDER THE TOPS-20 OPERATING SYSTEM….”
Amazing to see that not much has changed in 30 years. Amazingly this one man’s concept went from one email sent to every ARPANET user to an estimated 120 billion spam mails sent a day, costing approximately $140 billion dollars a year to fight. Course, no one should expect spam to go away anytime soon. As Mashable editor-in-chief Adam Ostrowpointed out recently, spam has even come to Twitter, showing that shameless marketing always has, and always will, keep up with the times; there is really no form of technology that is safe from such infuriating machinations.
So, mark the coming occassion as you see fit. For me, it will be expressing love for Google and the excellent spam filtering abilities of Gmail, which have made inbox spam a virtual non-issue.

Actually, she's being savaged by the angry GOPers who blame her for the loss. Which is not totally inaccurate if you look at the polling and how much of a drag she was on the ticket. I love how the Republicans are engaged in vicious infighting now. It's so entertaining!

So now she understands how brutal national politics can be. It took her this long? Just about every voter knows it's a knock down, drag out blood sport. If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen, Sarah. Oops, now she'll accuse me of being sexist. Well, at least if it makes her so upset, hopefully she'll never run again.
Why were there blue balloons in her office? Was some staffer trying to rub her nose in her defeat?

Why would Palin do any better in 2012?

I give you about 3 months before you turn on your own golden boy in the WH.
Gov Palin is a decent public servant who has worked tirelessly in the service of her country and party which is far more than most of you pathetic basement dwellers.
I'd hang out to see how many of sorry compulsive commenters told me to "Go back, uhhh, SOMEWHERE!", but some of us have families and, you know, real people in our lives with whom to spend time.
But knock yourselves out, I'm sure its more meaningful to you than to actually have a reason to live.

The hateful ones are the shit-eating morons who spent drumming up bigoted, racist, and close minded rhetoric when they couldn't win on the issues. The idea that people who oppose Palin are rootless is just yet another slur by the gurgling, dying Republican party. Wah, education bad, wah!

Hugo Mego: Like most repugnicans, you either cannot or will not accept any reality other than the one you have created. Every one of these charges against Palin has come from inside McCain's campaign... and there were no "neo-libs" there. NONE! It is her own repugnican insiders who actually tried to work with her who are spilling the beans. Typical right wing moron: see something you disagree with and it MUST be the fault of the Liberals and the Democrats, none of whom have been smearing Palin. It's the people from your own party who have a brain and hate the "know-nothing" wing (sorry, but that's you) that their party has sold out to. Ronald Regan (senile), Dan Quayle (laughable), McCain (senile), Palin (high school records show an astounding I.Q. of 83!), George W. Bush (how's THAT workung out?). Some jobs really should be held by the smart guy or gal... not the idiot with a few wisecracks! Why do you hate America so much that you want someone with an I.Q. of 83 sitting in the Oval Office? It's not slinging burgers, but I suppose that you've never thought of that.
By the way, you use the term "neo-lib", but I doubt that you actually can give me a definition without cheating and looking it up.
