About My Blog.

Welcome! This is "Catatonic Digressions."
Most readers don't understand my blog's title. It's an old inside joke from a forum long gone. I was going to change it, but since it's been "confusing" for so long, I decided to leave it. Don't worry about what it means, the content of the blog is what matters...or not

Unfortunately, my blog isn't what I set out for it to be. A sick woman in Orleans, MA began stalking me in 2007 on Myspace. Since that time, this woman obsessed over me to the point of having the police come to her home and threaten to confiscate her laptop. She is a racist and anti-Semite.I could no longer blog freely, knowing this nutbag was just going to take the photos I'd post and put them on a child exploitation website.

This site is only up for the information it has that others might need to know about. That information is about "Seal Shepherd" aka Michael McDade, Kat McAboy aka Marilyn McAboy and Veronika Hompo, a self-proclaimed Nazi.

I'm a real person. I'm real and I don't pretend to be someone I'm not. After years of putting up with online abuse by manipulative, pathological liars, attention whores or narcissists, I've had it. Don't bother me with pathetic drama. I have no time for these types of people and their need to absorb others' time and attention.

This blog is no longer used. I've retired it for the most part unless something very important comes up.

Why is Facebook Enabling Anti-Semites?

Why is Facebook Enabling Anti-Semites?

FEBRUARY 4, 2014 12:07 AM 24 COMMENTS
An anti-Semitic Facebook post. Photo: Screenshot.
Father Coughlin is alive and well. He resides in an underground bunker he shares with Henry Ford and Charles Lindbergh. The trio works for Mark Zuckerberg, responding to complaints about anti-Semitism on Facebook.
When the three aren’t doing their job (which is most of the time), they’re collaborating on a “new and revised” edition of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. They’re shopping it around and are having a tough time finding a publisher. Pluto Press said no and it’s not looking too good even at Pilgrim Press, so the troika is thinking of going the self-publishing route.
What I just told you is a big fat lie (or actually a whole bunch of them), but it’s still the best I can do to explain why Facebook does such a terrible job dealing with anti-Semitism on its website.
Here’s what happens:
Anonymous (and sometimes not-so-anonymous) lunatics post hateful pro-Nazi and anti-Semitic stuff on Facebook.
People dutifully complain about the stuff they see.
Facebook responds by telling people that the imagery does not violate the company’s community standards, (which includes bans on hate speech and the promotion of violence).
Who at Facebook sends out these messages? Really!
If it isn’t the trio of Coughlin, Ford, and Lindbergh, then maybe Facebook has farmed out the job of enforcing its community standards to Islamists in Pakistan or Iran. Or maybe they’ve contracted with a joint venture that includes the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda.
A while back, somebody from Bulgaria posted an image of a group of Nazi soldiers in the middle of massacring a group of Polish civilians. Underneath the photo the Bulgarian Facebook user photoshopped the Nike Swoosh with the trademark phrase, “Just Do It.”
After I saw the image, I clicked the proper buttons to tell the good folks at Facebook that the image needed to be taken down. I figured Facebook would take it down immediately, but instead, I got a message back from Facebook that said that the image “doesn’t violate our Community Standards.”
Being an Internet activist without peer (I work for CAMERA, mind you!), I wasn’t going to take no for an answer so I did the next necessary thing: I blogged about it!
And then I got really serious and reached out to the folks at Nike and said something like, “Um, folks, somebody is using your trademark to promote Nazism.”
That seemed to work. (I can’t take all the credit, because I’m sure that it occurred to other people that Nike wouldn’t want their trademark used in such a manner.)
Huzzah! The good guys won! And a huge victory it was! Antisemitism was forever banned from the pages of Facebook!
But alas, the battle continues.
Recently, my correspondents have alerted me to another page on Facebook. The end of the URL includes the phrase “The Truth About Jews” and the page itself promotes Blood Libels against the Jewish people.
It’s titled “Jewish ritual murder.”
The page has all the stuff you’d expect on an anti-Semitic Facebook page. It has 248 “Likes” and includes anti-Jewish libels from all over the world. The page includes a disclaimer that is simply bizarre: “Comments that are offensive, obscene, vulgar, irrelevant to this page or classified as spam will be removed.” The entire page is offensive and obscene. And the page, which has been in existence since March 2012, is an exercise in vulgar anti-Semitism.
Yes, people have complained about the page. And yes, Facebook has responded with messages indicating that the page does not violate the company’s community standards.
Will the page eventually be removed? Probably. But why doesn’t Facebook delete this stuff when first apprised of its presence on their website?
Why should it take any more than one complaint for Facebook to do the right thing?

This is the cute dog that suffered a slow and agonising death at the hands of a female solicitor who 'couldn't cope' with the responsibility of looking after her.

Katy Gammon, 27, abandoned five-year-old boxer Roxy while she stayed with her mother, leaving the dog to spend six days clawing at the door until she went blind, slipped into a coma and died.

Gammon and her former boyfriend Adam Taylor, 24, adopted Roxy together but split up soon after, with Taylor saying his ex-girlfriend later contacted him to say she was struggling to look after the dog.

When Gammon returned from her mother's home a week after abandoning Roxy, the stench through her letterbox was so strong that she could not face going inside.

She then returned to her mother for another nine weeks.

Roxy's dead body was only discovered when a neighbour saw a swarm of flies at the kitchen window, and was so decomposed that an RSPCA inspector had to scrape her body off the floor with a shovel.

Gammon, is now facing prison after admitting two cruelty charges, and has lost her job with leading Bristol law firm Lyons Davidson . She will be sentenced on April 9.

Mr Taylor said he was shocked and horrified at hearing how Roxy died - and could not understand why his former girlfriend had failed to get help.

Gammon had appeared to dote on the dog during the time they were together, he told the Bristol Evening Post.
Roxy originally belonged to a friend but developed anxiety problems after being left alone all day.

As Mr Taylor works evening shifts and Gammon worked in the daytime, they thought that between them someone would always be around to look after Roxy, so agreed to adopt her in December 2012.

But five months later the couple split up - with Gammon saying she would take on the sole responsibility of looking after Roxy.

Mr Taylor says that within a few months, Gammon contacted him to say she was struggling to cope and was looking for a new home for Roxy.

When they spoke a short time later, Gammon told him the dog was now with her sister.
Mr Taylor said he then heard nothing until police contacted him in November 2013 with the news that Roxy had been left to die.

During a hearing at Bristol Magistrates' Court, Gammon admitted she last fed the dog at the end of August.
The animal welfare charity, which prosecuted Gammon, described the case as one of the worst it has ever dealt with.

Horrified RSPCA inspector Chris James had to remove the dog's body with a shovel.

He said a stream of maggots had crawled from the kitchen down the hallway - to where there were tins of dog food on a table.

When shown photographs of the scene Gammon added: 'I don't know what you want me to say.'

Gammon pleaded guilty to one count of causing unnecessary suffering to an animal, and another of failing to prevent causing unnecessary suffering to an animal.
The two offences each carry a maximum sentence of six months in prison and possible fines of £20,000.
'I had no idea about the extent of what happened - the police only told me part of it,' Mr Taylor said.

'Katy was great with the dog when we were together, that’s why I’m so confused. She played with toys, treats, and we took her out for walks together the odd time, although granted I did it most days.'

'Katy and Roxy used to be cuddled up in bed and on the sofa together all the time. I would walk in from work to find them both cuddled up on sofa watching telly. When we were together she was great to the dog.'

'I had a feeling something was up when she said she couldn’t cope with her anymore - I just wish I could have done more.'

Mr Taylor claims he had no idea that Gammon locked the dog in the kitchen each day, as before he left the dog was behaving better.

He added: 'I don’t know why Katy didn’t ask for help - she’s got lots of family and friends in the area.
'She told me her sister had the dog and she lied to her family, telling them I had her.
'I want to make it clear that I had absolutely no idea what was happening to Roxy - if I’d have known I would have stepped in straight away.”

Gammon is due to be sentenced on April 9.
