About My Blog.

Welcome! This is "Catatonic Digressions."
Most readers don't understand my blog's title. It's an old inside joke from a forum long gone. I was going to change it, but since it's been "confusing" for so long, I decided to leave it. Don't worry about what it means, the content of the blog is what matters...or not

Unfortunately, my blog isn't what I set out for it to be. A sick woman in Orleans, MA began stalking me in 2007 on Myspace. Since that time, this woman obsessed over me to the point of having the police come to her home and threaten to confiscate her laptop. She is a racist and anti-Semite.I could no longer blog freely, knowing this nutbag was just going to take the photos I'd post and put them on a child exploitation website.

This site is only up for the information it has that others might need to know about. That information is about "Seal Shepherd" aka Michael McDade, Kat McAboy aka Marilyn McAboy and Veronika Hompo, a self-proclaimed Nazi.

I'm a real person. I'm real and I don't pretend to be someone I'm not. After years of putting up with online abuse by manipulative, pathological liars, attention whores or narcissists, I've had it. Don't bother me with pathetic drama. I have no time for these types of people and their need to absorb others' time and attention.

This blog is no longer used. I've retired it for the most part unless something very important comes up.

Please, join Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, and follow them on Twitter and Facebook.

Action for Animals at VANS WARPED TOUR 2013 Uniondale, NY

I was once again honored to volunteer with Action for Animals this year at Nassau Coliseum for the VANS WARPED TOUR 2013. I do this for the animals, not for the music. What I really enjoy about Vans Warped Tour is that it's a full day and night of music with sponsors from various non-profits and charities, not just sponsors in it to make money. There are always more than two booths for the animals. This year, aside from AFA there was peta2 and FARM.

Volunteers still needed for our booth at some Warped Tour shows! If you're interested in volunteering for the day at the show in Tampa, Orlando, Charlotte, or any of the Texas shows, please see all the information at http://www.afa-online.org/warpedtour2013.pdf

Warped Tour 2013 – Volunteers Needed!!
>>> Please reply to: AFAWarpedTour@gmail.com >>> Put the show you want to volunteer at and your full name in the
subject line, like this: Dallas, TX – John Smith
We need dedicated and reliable vegans and vegetarians to volunteer with Action for
Animals at Vans Warped Tour shows!
See our volunteer requirements and questionnaire below!
Please read EVERYTHING before responding.
AFA will have a 10 x 20 foot booth again this year on the entire U.S. leg of the Vans Warped Tour. We will be giving out vegan and animal rights information, vegan recipes, and stickers. We will also have animal rights and environmentally themed shirts, stickers, and buttons for sale. [All merchandise sales help fund the tour.]
We need volunteers to staff our booth – to give out information and sell merchandise – as well as to pass out information to lines and crowds.
Volunteers will get into the event for free; however, if you wish to see bands, you should buy a ticket. We are usually within earshot of one or several stages though.
(Already going to a show? You can still volunteer! Just come by our booth at any show and say you want to help out, such as when there are not bands you like playing.)
Volunteer Requirements:
- Be vegan or vegetarian. - Have a reliable way to get to the event. - Have or be able to borrow a cell phone to call us when you arrive. - Be able to arrive at the venue by 10am. - Be able to stay until we close at the end of the show, usually sometime between 7pm and 9pm. - Be able to stand outside in the summer weather all day. Our booths provide some shade. - Be comfortable interacting with people to do outreach and/or sell merchandise. - Absolutely no smoking, alcohol, or drug use is allowed while you are volunteering.

How long have you been vegan/vegetarian? -
What made you decide to become vegan/vegetarian? Please elaborate. -
Have you done animal rights outreach before (not required to volunteer)? If so, please explain briefly. - Have you volunteered with Action for Animals before? If so, please explain briefly. If it was at Warped Tour, please tell us the year(s) and the show/city. -
Can you help all day (this is essential as we cannot transfer wristbands mid-day)? -
How did you hear about this volunteer opportunity (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, AFA email, forward from a friend, etc.)? -
What are your Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr URLs? (please list all that apply): - Can we ship you boxes to bring us at the show [restock of literature, etc.]? (If you aren’t sure, please say no.) - If “yes” to the above then please provide your address. If we ship you boxes you MUST show up or we won’t have materials for that show.
**We will get in touch with you via email. Please email AFAWarpedTour@gmail.com with your responses from an email account that you check regularly.**
Please be patient while waiting for a response. We receive a LOT of applications and it takes some time to go through them all.
THANK YOU!

Milk Comes From Grieving Mothers

Mother cows produce milk for their babies, not for humans.
The only animal milk humans should be drinking is from other humans, and only until we are weaned.
